Between Gran Turismo 5 and LittleBigPlanet 2, we'll never have to buy any other games ever again. The entire industry will sink!!!
The question I have is, will it be this year's Furby? Will it be a flash-in-the-pan fad that will die out by next year?
TSA here stands for The Sixth Axis, but it more commonly refers to the Transportation Security Administration, which is responsible for airport security.
apparently gonna hit stores very soon.
My guess would be the 120GB version goes down by $50, to be replaced by the 160GB.
Bicycle Race?
I just saw on CNN yesterday that, based on GDP, China just surpassed Japan as the #2 economy. USA is still #1 by a large margin, but economists expect China to surpass us within 10 years. Again, that is based off GDP, you may be saying China is #1 based off of another metric, so I'm not saying you're wrong. Just saying what I saw.
XBox 360 4G system is at #49 as of the time I write this.
Halo: Reach bundle is at #48.
Pearl White PSP Go is at #43.
Pink DSi is at #27.
PS3 120G is at #16.
PS2 is at #13.
XBox 360 250G Splinter Cell Conviction bundle is at #7.
A lot of concept art gets done for things that never make it into the final version of a game. This very well might be something from the final game, but it could also be something that got rejected.
Keep in mind that this is not an official shot promoting the game, but a picture from the "jobs" section of their website. The point of the picture is not to show anything from the game, but to show someone who is working at the studio.
It was released mid June, so July would still see some of the sales spike.
Molyneux has said that Fable III will have Kinect support, but not at launch. He has back-pedaled a little bit on that, which has led some people to think that he is reconsidering or even canceling kinect support. Last I saw, he said that Fable III and Kinect will "probably" have a bright future together. It's the "probably" that has led to the speculation. As of now, expect some sort of Kinect support in Fable III at some point.
"The Macarena" sold 11 million copies in about a year.
Perhaps Kinect will be as successful.
That is not the Eyetoy doing that, it was the z-camera made by 3DV running on a PS2. That video is excerpted from a talk that Dr. Marks gave at Stanford. He was talking about the 3D cameras that they were, at the time, looking into.
Ignorance FTW, eh?
Is your argument seriously "Kinect may suck, but people are stupid enough to buy it"?
The depth camera has one resolution and the RGB camera has another. Your source says that the depth camera had the resolution lowered from the original plan, which I am not disagreeing with.
If you don't like my source, just google "kinect specs" and you'll find a bunch more that quote the same information.
I would think that Microsoft doesn't want this game on 360. Since it obviously requires a camera, they would have to choose to use the Vision cam, which would limit sales to almost zero, or Kinect. This game would make Kinect look bad, though, because a camera that costs 1/3 as much is doing the same game. I think Microsoft would rather pass on this and stick with the Kinect exclusive stuff.

The RGB camera is 640x480 at 30 Hz.
The depth camera is 320x240, also at 30 Hz.
I guess especially when it's this type of article. I will stand by my statement as a general rule, but maybe this type of article would be an exception.
I see that in a lot of previews as well. A general sentiment of "We thought Move was little more than a Wii rip-off, but after trying it and seeing just how well it works, we're really excited about it."

Battery charged by solar cells.
I never finished the first either. I loved the gameplay and the story, but a combination of other great games coming out, and the fact that I was at a really tough battle in that game combined to prevent me from finishing it.
